Getting issue agent installation on Solaris 11 machines, installation completed successfully with below directory but the logs are missing.
/etc/opt/BESClient
Service already stop/start but logs are not getting generated.
Bigfix version :- 9.5.12

The agent log is created at the agent start up, please double check if your agent is really started. A common problem, for the agent not being started, is the missing masthead in the folder /etc/opt/BESClient. In such case you should get the following error:
root@nc1474133 # ./besclient start
Starting BigFix: BESClient
Missing masthead /etc/opt/BESClient/actionsite.afxm.
Is the Solaris architecture SPARC or Intel ?
Not getting any masthead file missing message while stating or stopping Besclient service.
that’s is Solaris SPARC.

The logs would be under “/var/opt/BESClient/__BESData/__Global/Logs”.

Can you please confirm the agent is running ? Try the following:
root@nc1474133 # ps -ef |grep -i bes
root 57 35 0 17:41:08 pts/1 0:00 grep -i bes
root 29385 1 0 14:22:23 ? 4:08 /opt/BESClient/bin/BESClient
If not, then please check you have a masthead file named “actionsite.afxm” under:
/etc/opt/BESClient/actionsite.afxm
