Has anyone distributed software to endpoints via a separate web server for download/installation and not native/local to the IBM Endpoint Manager Server? Perhaps modifying an actionscript to refer to that URL for downloads?
We are running IEM 9.0.787.0

I wouldn’t imagine it would be very difficult to do. All of IBM’s published fixlets are downloading from external sources (i.e. microsoft.com). However you will not accomplish much by changing the URL to a different source, since IEM will need to cache the download on the main server then down to the relay(s) then to the client anyway.
What are you looking to accomplish? There are other options to have the client download directly as well (by-passing relays), but I haven’t done much with that…
