Silently copying files from any server shaer to the local hard drive

I am trying to copy 2 files from a server share to the local hard drive, as part of a fixlet that I trying to put together. The problem that I am runing into, is that when I do, I cannot suppress the associated DOS box that pops up when the copy command executes. I am using the dos copy command, is there another way?
