We are running into some size issues with our MSSQL server for one of the Bigfix servers… amongst a few options, we have thought about attempting to shrink the biggest DB, which is BFEnterprise. This is on a Windows 2008R2 machine, running the latest Bigfix 9.5.6, with MSSQL Server 2012 version 11.x.
Does anyone have experience attempting to shrink the BFEnterprise DB on a similar setup? Are there considerable size savings to be seen? Is it worth pursuing, or do you think it might cause problems?
