Setting creation to download the patch content Directlyy

Hi Team,

We are planning to apply below settings on our endpoints so that whenever they are on VPN they download contents of patches directly from MS or other third party websites instead of our internal relay.

So I wanted to check into this forum that the format of the subnet into the third setting “_BESClient_Download_Direct_SubnetList” is correct or not.

setting “_BESClient_Download_Direct”=“1” on “{now}” for client
setting “_BESClient_Download_DirectRecovery”=“1” on “{now}” for client
setting “_BESClient_Download_Direct_SubnetList”=“172.31.148.0/22;172.31.152.0/22;172.31.156.0/22;172.31.160.0/24;10.31.148.0/22;10.31.152.0/22;10.31.156.0/22;10.31.160.0/24” on “{now}” for client

The format of the Download_Direct_SubnetList is correct, and should include your VPN IP Subnets.
The BESClient_Download_Direct setting however is not needed, as I understand it though. Setting it to 1 should make the client always try direct downloads, ignoring the SubnetList setting.
It will be some time before I could test to verify, but please do correct me if you try it out and find differently.

Understand that the Direct Download Feature will not work with Download Plugins like RHEL Download Plugin
