If its not one thing, its another… This time we have a machine whos client will not start. Logs the following error:

The BES Client service terminated with service-specific error 28 (0x1C).

Hi Brandon,

There is some very extensive logging available through the EMsg setttings.

Try setting the detail level to 10,000 and you’ll get a lot more info than you really want I suspect.

Are there any general troublshooting steps for clients that have a client installed but the service won’t start or the client is installed and the service running but doesn’t report back the the BES Server?
