Search hard drive for partial name of a file and get it's location

Not good with writing analyses, can someone give me the command to

search the hard drive for a partial file name and get the path where it resides?

For example, I need to search for microsoft.blank1, microsoft.blank2, and microsoft.blank3. and find out where these files are living.

I figure if I just search for microsoft.blank then I should get the paths for all 3. Please help, this would save me lots of time. Probably something simple.

Thanks,

Sno

The Spring shell scan task (and analysis to retrieve the results) are a very similar use-case. Check the links I posted at Spring Framework RCE Vulnerability – Current BigFix Actions

Since you don’t need to scan inside archives, you can simplify the script a bit.
