Script Error When Accessing Baseline Components

Hi There.

We have a strange error on one of our BigFix instances on version 10.0.7. When some users try to access Baseline Components and click the arrow beside them to see the Relevance and Action Script: BigFix throws a Script error: An error has occurred in the script on this page. It gives a line and char number and the Error is Access is Denied, Code 0 URL about.blank. And then they’re given the option to continue running scripts on this page. Choosing yes or no, changes nothing

Has anyone seen this before or do you know what causes it ? I have tried :

  • Deleting %LOCALAPPDATA%\BigFix and reinstalled – No affect.
  • Created a fresh test account and logged into my Console with it – Same error.
  • Testing with Other accounts. -Same error.
  • Wipe Internet explores cache and changed the Internet options security settings to be that same as known working machines – Same error
  • Added server name to Internet Options Trusted Sites.

What has worked is a fresh new install of Windows 10 21H1 on a Device, install the Console, and I was able to login and review the scripts for the Baseline Components. I upgraded to Windows 10 22H2 and installed all relevant updates and patches, and it still worked. We tried this because some people have suggested it was because MS have depracated IE in a recent update. But I don’t think this is the case.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what to check next? Can supply logs and screen shots in case this is unclear.
