Script Error in Windows Patch Wizard

When trying to use the Windows Patch Wizard I get a script error message

Other wizards and dashboards seem to work with no issues. I have tried deleting the cache and running as a different id, but still have the same issue. This seems to only be happening on one workstation, so it has to be specific to this system. Any ideas on troubleshooting this?

Thanks

Hi Martin,

Thank you for reporting the issue!

Kindly try gathering the latest Patches for Windows site (v2470 as of now) and check the wizard again.

I tried again. I think it is something in my windows profile. If I logon as a different id and start the console, the wizard works correctly.

I am going to see if I can figure out where the error comes from, as I really do not want to rebuild my profile :frowning:

Thanks

Martin

BaiYunfei,

Has there been release to this, issue, I am getting the same thing with both profiles.

Hi sbak,

Could you post here more info, such as error message, screenshots, and steps to reproduce?

Thank you!

Bai,

I was in the process of pushing out patching using the patch windows patch wizard, I have selected year:2016: Months: April
and in the filter I have put in Windows 7. I have select all the patches for windows 7, select next, I chosen Build action, and Copy filets to the custom site, <img, src=“/uploads/default/original/2X/1/1f23ec8bdd17bfeecb8014109340607d7d6bbb16.PNG” width=“690” height=“370”>

Than, I have select next.

Hi sbak,

Thanks for the steps to reproduce, and yes I can reproduce this in my environment. We will proceed to fix it and update this thread when that’s done.

As a workaround, you may want to try ‘Build Baseline’ instead of ‘Build Action’.

Thank you!

Hi sbak,

The Wizard has been updated in BigFix Lab site Version 49. Kindly try it out.

Thank you!
