The scheduled Wake-on-LAN interface in power management v3 is very nice looking and useful, but it was brought to my attention by a console operator that, apparently, console operators can edit and delete each other’s scheduled wakeups regardless of what management rights they have.
It may not seem like a big deal, but we have a lot of console operators and it would be very irritating for them to find that their scheduled WoL policies have been deleted by someone else (whether it be accidentally or intentional) Is there any way to prevent this? Is there an audit log somewhere that tracks changes to scheduled WoL?
We actually released an update to this wizard about to months ago to take care of this. It should now be that if you are a master operator, you can see everyones schedule, but if your are an NMO you can only see your own schedules (similar to the rest of BES content permissions).
However if you had made your wakeup policies before we released this update, then the wizard will assume that they were created by master operators (since we didn’t keep track of who created them at the time). Polices created before this change will have their “created by” field blank, in the Scheduled Wake-on-Lan wizard. Its probably easiest to delete and recreate these outdated policies, if you want them restricted by nmo’s.
