I’ve been working with the SCA tool for about a month now and I noticed something that may be amis to some of my non-technical users (read: the bosses). I’ve had to update a check regarding our legal string and I’ve tried to update what the “Desired Value” within the fixlet reads but the SCA site doesn’t change.
I assume each page within SCA’s web interface that is generated is tied to a specific fixlet ID because the ID within the URL is not the same as the ID of the fixlet yet the relevance of the fixlet registers with the percentages of that URL page. So, for whatever reason, one part of the fixlet translates to the web page and the other doesn’t. Can this be explained?
UPDATE:
I see now that it’s tied to the metadata of the fixlet when it was first generated. Is there a way to edit the existing fixlet’s metadata so that SCA will pick it up? I’ve tried finding the corresponding file within on the IEM server but changing the value within the site’s corresponding fixlet metadata file didn’t change it after importing. If that’s what I need to do, would it require a restart of the BES server services to pick it up?
