I have a question regarding the task “Save and Close Open Documents” in the Power Management module. We have been using the task for the past few years in our WinXP environment to shut down systems. The task is basically a Shutdown task, but has the added advantage of saving any open Office documents before it shuts down the system, which the customer has come to appreciate. I’ve noticed that the task appears to only be supported for Windows XP. We are migrating in the very near future to Win7 and want to continue to use the Save and Close Open documents in our shutdown process. So my question is can the task be adapted to work with Win7 or will the task be supported for Win7 anytime in the near future?
