Right now, we run our HW/SW scans weekly and always run them manually/immediately. We understand they can be scheduled. The problem that we’ve found is pushing the software catalog to the endpoints can block subsequent tasks/fixlets such as our scans if the catalog isn’t available to be downloaded. This is not desired behavior for us. Instead, we would like to setup tasks/fixlets to run on a specified schedule (e.g. Mon, Wed, 8AM UTC, 10AM local) and implement it using Relevance language and not scheduling the tasks.
Is there a way to get the HW/SW scans to run every week - on Fri - 10UTC? Without scheduling the tasks?
We must also prevent multiple concurrent scans on any particular endpoint from occurring.
An example would be terrific.
