Can anyone tell me how we can restore Windows Server 2003 back to its Original State if any patch got Corrupted or after Updating the patch. As per my knowledge when roll back is done it only replaces the old KB if using the Microsoft Roll back wizard and it will not restore to previous OS state.
Is it Possible that before applying any patch we get the Snapshot of the System so that if any failure occur we can restore back easily ?
The rollback wizard you referenced only removes a single patch that has been applied to a machine. To roll it back to a state where all patches installed in a cycle are removed, you would either have to remove each one individually using the rollback wizard or use some previous restore point on the OS itself. Snapshots would be doable with this but the action targeting that machine would need to be stopped or it would reapply the patches you intend to remove.
