RHSM Plugin at Relay server

Hi,

I want to configure RHSM plugin at relay servers and want to download patches at the relay server only instead of main root servers for RHEL 7 clients due to network load constrainsts at the remote location for this i want to know how to configure client that should use local relay server RHSM plugin instead of main root servers

I am enabling below setting for RHSM plugin at relay.

  • Register RHSM plugin at relay ( MyDownload Plug-in)
  • Deploy DLRHELRepoList.json file at relay

I am using below settings for enabling internet connection at relay server.

_BESGather_Download_CheckInternetFlag = 1
_BESGather_Download_CheckParentFlag = 0

please suggest.

I am involve in a new project which has a similar case.

Were you able to make it work? As per the documentation the download plugin must be only registered on BFserver :frowning:

Yes it works for me , you need to configure plugin on relay as well , if you want i can give you a reference doc
