RHEL 7 Patching for sshpass

RHEL 7 is missing sshpass patches as it can’t be found in the RHEL 7 or RHEL 7 ESU site. upon further checking in red hat sshpass.x86_64 is part of red hat repository “Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Server - Extras RPMs x86_64”

Question: Will regular patches released by BigFix under RHEL7 and RHEL 7 ESU includes sshpass? or this should be installed as separate package?

any suggestions on this sshpass.x86_64??

Hi @sai_sreep can you provide a link to the Red Hat Errata page that contains the package you’re seeking so I can do some additional research on this request?

Hi @sai_sreep, our RHEL content is based on published erratas. Are you aware of any erratas for this updated sshpass package? Here is an example of what I’m asking for: https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHEA-2017:2361
