The RHEDownloadcacher.exe doesn’t work correctly anymore.

Since 27th September it throws the following error in RHDownload.log file:

Encountered a fatal error: Access forbidden! Please enter correct login information at RHEDownloadCacher.pl line 424.

Manual login on https://rhn.redhat.com with the same account-information (User, Password) as downloadcacher uses works well.

Has someone similar problems and knows the solution?

This has been fixed in Version 3.0. You can get the latest from:

http://software.bigfix.com/download/bes/util/RHEDownloadCacher.exe

COMPLAINT DEPT:

These tools should all be on one page on the support website, with version numbers next to the tools. Right now you have to click through 5 pages from the main support.bigfix.com site to get to the tool and there is no version number. YUCK!
