Now that VMWare publishes VMtools independently from ESX releases, please add patching support for VMTools on all BigFix-supported client platforms.
Tools is a critically integral component to endpoints running as VMware virtual machines, bringing updated drivers, performance and compatibility with the vSphere infrastructure. Maintaining version control managed updating of Tools is as critical to virtual operations as is any other managed application.
