Some of this is probably more to do with Discourse itself.
- Get notified in the UI of discourse when there are edits made to a post you are following.
- See a list of the most active posts in terms of comments, edits, links from other posts, and views.
Yeah I think you should post this on https://meta.discourse.org – they’re quite active at responding to feature requests and bug reports.
For your second bullet, does the “Top” view not do what you want?
