What permissions are required???
I have been able to successfully delete a computer using the API as a master operator. However, we have an automation account that we’d like to use instead. It’s got everything but custom content rights. So I added custom content rights and still no dice. Does the delete API require MO rights?
The REST API does not require master operator rights, nor custom content permissions in order to delete machines. I’ve just successfully tested a deletion via the REST API - 9.2.7 - with an account that has the following permissions:
Are you receiving an error of some kind, or is there any other indication of failure? How are you identifying the computer to delete?

The account I was using didn’t have the computer association needed. I just added that now and it worked like a charm
