Requesting patches for Windows Applications

Here’s a smattering of applications we often create custom content for patching. If other sites do this as well, it’d be swell to have them included in the service.

  • Mozilla Thunderbird
  • (things that bundle OpenSSL)
  • PuTTY
  • WinSCP
  • Stunnel
  • Pidgin
  • Adobe Creative Suite, applications
  • VLC

Assuming all of these would be on windows. Correct?

If I remember correctly, the Mozilla Thunderbird updates used to be exactly like the Firefox updates that we used to put out.

Yes indeed, on Windows. I’m working up another wishlist for Mac OS X applications.

I wanted to poke this thread. With this week’s release of OpenSSL 1.0.1k, WinSCP’s release candidate has bumped to 5.6.5. The ‘stable’ version remains at 5.5.6
