In order to successfully install the Windows March 2018 Cumulative rollup for Win10 1709, Microsoft recommends removing the January 2018 Delta update, KB4056892, if it’s installed. Has anyone found a clean way to do this? It does not have a standard uninstall string. Attempting to remove it quietly using WUSA at a command prompt fails, as it requires interaction.
I can run a powershell script to remove it using DISM, but it seems to do a messy job, and after rebooting, a secondary powershell script needs to be run to use DISM to clean up the updates catalog?
How are others addressing this?
