As part of regular cleanup activities, the BigFix team is planning to remove selected Windows executable and library files (.exe and .dll) from the content in BES Support site- see below for the complete list. The activity is planned to happen at the end of Q1, 2022.
These files have been assessed as no longer used or necessary to any BigFix feature or use case; as investigation progresses and additional data is gathered, the team may consider adding some of the files back in.
We recommend BigFix users to verify that they are not leveraging on any Fixlet from unsupported content, or their custom content, that is referencing any of these files from BES Support as, if this is the case, the content may cease to work when the files are removed.
