Relevance to target based on percentage

Hi,

I’m trying to set-up a relevance to target BES clients based on calculations like 5% of total computers or 25% of total computers. The idea is not to target all clients at once due to strict maint windows. Does any one have idea how this can be implemented, property to chose to calculate number of clients / total number of clients to make the calculations.

Example: All computers has 100 targets and I would like to target 5% of them at first and remaining during next maint window.

Given that the relevance clauses are evaluated at the client, not the server, I don’t think you will find a way to do this.

The best I can think of if you want a random sampling to test against, is use a Manual TEM group. Sort the computers by Last Report Time and pick the most recent 5% of machines. Then deploy the action to this group.

I keep a Group of machines I use for testing with, but I don’t change the members very often.
