I’m coming to BigFix from SCCM where during a SOE Build it is possible to select installation of all relevant mandatory or non-mandatory patches to an endpoint.
I’ve done some searching and cannot seem to figure out how to do this in BigFix.
I’m aware of how to create a Baseline, and have done this manually selecting a bunch of relevant patches, but I’m after a more robust solution to ensure all relevant patches are deployed to my SOE Build. The problem I have with using a baseline and selecting a static list of patches is there is no longer any control over supercedance, and I cannot be sure I have captured all relevant patches under all conditions of an endpoint.
How can I create a dynamic method of applying all relevant patches to an endpoint without needing to manually select each individual patch that is applicable?
