i was reading about the _BESRelay_HealthCheck_Enable and _BESRelay_HealthCheck_EnableAtStartup relay settings, and to me, they seem useful and dangerous at the same time.. i was wondering if anyone has any experience on them they would care to share (as information about them is rare..).
As far as I know these settings still exist, but they can have bad relay performance implications, so do not keep them enabled. They should only be used temporarily for troubleshooting purposes.
Details are limited because we no longer document these settings publicly because of it causes problems.
If for some reason you enable _BESRelay_HealthCheck_Enable, you should set _BESRelay_HealthCheck_IntervalMinutes so that it runs at most once a day, not the default once an hour.
I think primarily those fixed situations that don’t really occur anymore because the Relays were improved
