Registry key hive size

Hi all,

Have an interesting use case that I was hoping someone may have encountered before - is there a way to check the size of the reg key hive size? Won’t bother you too much with the background story but we have an app not behaving well (writing TOO much data to registry) to the magnitude of causing OS stability issues. We are chasing the respective vendor but what we wanted to do is use BigFix to detect where we may expect to have the issue…

There is a sysinternal cmd tool from MS that seems to be doing the job BUT it will mean we have to write a task, schedule it to run on all machines on periodic bases and store the result, then BigFix property to read it back and the trouble that comes off it… I’d like to avoid it if there is a way to do it directly in relevance?
