Redhat patch download error

Hi , i have configured the download plug-in for RHEL but still not able to download patches for redhat and getting below error message.

Can you please let me know how to see the logs and troubleshoot this.

What does the download plugin log show? If you have access to the desktop of the Bigfix server (I’m assuming a Windows server here), look under “Program Files (x86)\Bigfix Enterprise\BES Server\DownloadPlugins\RedHatProtocol\logs”. There will be a separate log for each attempt of the download plugin to try and download content.

It is saying failed to login , but i can login on RHN site with same user id and password.

do i need to configure plugin on the server where i install Bigfix console or Bigfix application server?

I’m having the same issue on two different systems this morning. My suspicion is that Red Hat made a change today related to how content is accessed, and our download plugin needs to be updated. I’m trying to verify that now.

We’re having the same issue. It seems to have started yesterday.

It looks like there is an issue with our RedHat plugin right now (RedHat has most likely changed their site). Issue has been escalated to Dev to update it. Expect turnaround time within approximately 12 to 24 hours (maybe longer but not likely). Look for release of new Patching Support site version when release happens.

New RHEL download plugin released.

RHEL Download Plug-in, version 2.8.8.0
