Recent Patches for Solaris Content missing?

Oracle released the April 2018 Solaris CPU Bundle for Solaris 10 on April 17th, 2018.

As of this morning, April 26, 2018, there are no fixlets in BigFix for this. It also seems that no other fixlets in this External Site have a Release Date after January 31, 2018.

Is it in some way related to the change in the access permissions on Oracle’s Support site due to a Change in Premiere Support that went into effect on January 31st, 2018?

I’ve opened a case with IBM on this, but if you happen to have any information on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob_K

Solaris 10 is under extended support starting February 1st, 2018. What this means is that all patches provided starting on February 1st requires a special paid subscription plan. BigFix does not support extended support type patches.

If you don’t write the custom Fixlet yourself, then you’ll need to file RFE or contact Professional Services in order for it to be supported.

@zevanty

Thanks for that explanation.

Somehow, we missed that Solaris 10 was moving to extended support. When we got the Oracle side of things corrected, we then couldn’t get the fixlets. I have someone working this with IBM now, and hoping for a solution shortly.
