Reboot schedule/logs

(imported topic written by jlehr91)

We have recently just deployed and are getting complaints about boots. There were no open actions left but a previous snooze on a 5 day deadline to boot post action warning may have kicked in?

I just need to know:

  1. If these system events and the entry in the Big Fix log indicate that BIG FIX initiated the boot or is this Big Fix “reacting” to a boot?

  2. Is it possible to find out if a PC has a forced boot pending and how long it has left until it does it?

I believe you will see those entries if BigFix restarts the system OR if something else does (or at least some other system process does for the event log entry)… Although you should probably run a quick test to be sure…
