Query about Windows hotpatch

We have some Windows 11 machines that installed CU of the month using hotpatch . The computer that is hotpatched should be up to date but 'll have a lower Build number . For example the below for May patches

May 13, 2025 “Cold Patch” May 13, 2025—KB5058411 (OS Build 26100.4061) - Microsoft Support

May 13, 2025 “Hotpatch” May 13, 2025—Hotpatch KB5058497 (OS Build 26100.3981) - Microsoft Support

This computer after installing the hotpatch it shows UBR as 3981 and because of that it still shows in Bigfix as still relevant to KB5058411 .

Is there any plan from HCL to allow the fixlets logic to account for Windows hotpatching ?

Hi @EOsman2, yes, we are going to adjust our relevance so that if you deploy the hotpatch, you are then no longer relevant for the cumulative update. We need to make this adjustment in our content development process.

Thanks @gus , do you know any time frame for that adjustment to happen ? If no fixed date then at least estimate should be fine :slightly_smiling_face: .

Hi @EOsman2, please review this updated content. If you’ve deployed the hotpatch to your endpoint, the cumulative update will no longer be applicable within BigFix as of site version 4556. Thanks, Gus.
