We have configured Management Extender - Vcenter in BigFix Console through which we are getting EXSI virtual machine information but I have noticed weird behavior that ESXI are going offline very frequently and it almost take 12 hours of time to report back again.
I have cross checked Proxy agent, Relay Log and Plugin log file but didn’t find any suspicious item.
Please suggest how to identify and recitify the issue…
It sounds like either your refresh interval is too short, or there is too much content being evaluated by the management extender. You can lengthen your refresh interval in the ‘Configure Management Extenders’ dashboard. To reduce evaluated content, make sure any site subscriptions set for All Computers or OS checks that might match VMs, also include ‘Agent Context’ contains ‘True’ to limit them to only native agents.
Yes default Interval is set to 60 minutes and I’m try to gather more then 1400+ Instance from Relay Server.
So, if I increase the Refresh interval Would issue will resolved ?
