Problems filtering in Web Reports 8

(imported topic written by EJRhees)

I need a report that lists all computers that report “False” to Property A and Property B, AND lists any computers that report “True” for Property C, D, E, F, and G.

It seems like I can do ALL, or ANY, but not both.

This is a functionality that we had in Web Reports 7.

Any assistance is much appreciated.

Thank you

While that type of nesting isn’t directly supported in the interface, you should be able to accomplish this by creating two saved filters.

  1. Property A = False AND Property B = False

  2. Property C AND D AND E AND F AND G = False

Then you can report on computers that match either of those filters.

Thank you for the info, but I don’t see how to use two saved filters in one Web Report.

I am trying to create a report than can be used daily.

Thank you

Unless I’m misunderstanding your issue, the final filter section would look something like the attached image.

So create and save each filter (using the “Save Filter” link in the upper right of the filter section-see image). Then load both filters and hit apply. Results should match ANY condition in your case.

@abauer

Thank you very much that did exactly what I was looking for.

The person I was making the report for is ecstatic.

Thank you
