Problem adding Virtual Endpoint Manager (vCenter)

Hi All,

We have deployed the below action item in order to fetch VM detailed information into IBM BigFix Console.

But we’re getting the error in the log file (C:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\Management Extender\Plugins\VMware ESXi 1\Logs)
Here is the log information:
[Mon Aug 8 00:52:37 2016] [4364] Starting VMware vCenter Plugin v3.0.80
[Mon Aug 8 00:52:37 2016] [4364] Please make sure you have the latest version of the plugin.
[Mon Aug 8 00:52:38 2016] [4364] Plugin is configured to connect to vCenter server at https://ServerName.com/sdk/webService
[Mon Aug 8 00:52:44 2016] [4364] Refreshing all devices.

[Mon Aug 8 00:55:20 2016] [4364] ERROR: An error has occurred while querying hosts: Can’t load class ‘VirtualPCIPassthroughVmiopBackingInfo’ at /<C:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\Management Extender\Plugins\VMware ESXi 1\plugin\vCenterPlugin.exe>VMware/VIMRuntime.pm line 63.
[Mon Aug 8 00:57:33 2016] [4364] ERROR: An error has occurred while querying virtual machines: Undefined subroutine &VirtualPCIPassthroughVmiopBackingInfo::deserialize called at /<C:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\Management Extender\Plugins\VMware ESXi 1\plugin\vCenterPlugin.exe>VMware/VICommon.pm line 2378.

I’m unable to see “VIMRuntime.pm” file which is running through vCenterPlugin.exe anywhere in C:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\Management Extender\Plugins\VMware ESXi 1\plugin" which is not able to load the class as shown in above error.

If we can identify then we can have more idea on where exactly we’re facing the issue. Here is the screenshot from “C:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\Management Extender\Plugins\VMware ESXi 1\plugin”.

We have opened PMR for support and they have mentioned that Open a bug immediately, this error is unique and fixes used on similar errors have not worked.
Document each step performed so far in bug and send it back to them.

Any help on this will be highly appreciated!
Tons of thank in advance.

Hi @jgstew, @dexdexdex

I was wondering if you could assist me on this issue.
Please advise!

Thank You.

Hey @prabhu490730,

Sorry I haven’t responded until now, I was on vacation for a little bit. It’s literally been years since I’ve worked on the Virtual Endpoint Manager stuff but I’ll look for the current owner and poke them.

Thank You @dexdexdex!
Please let me know if you get any input or information which will help me to fix this issue.

I’ve never actually used this, so I don’t have much to add.

@BigFixNinja might be able to help.

@BigFixNinja
Any thoughts on this please!
