Power Monitoring Task - Add to baseline?

Is there a way to add the Power Monitoring Task to a baseline? Right now, we can only seem to kick off the task by using the Power Tracking Information Dashboard. Or are we missing it?

I guess we could duplicate the task logic and create a custom task, but it seems like there should be a built in task to handle this. That way we aren’t responsible for maintaining the code :).

Anyone doing something similar?

We want every system that is added to BigFix to have power monitoring enabled. If there is another way to do this, we are open to suggestions. But as we use the Baselines for compliance reporting, it made sense to us to add it to a baseline.

Hey John,

I would recommend that you enable power management (as you would for any computer) and then target it to “All computers” as a policy… This will automatically enable power management for all computers and you wont need to add it to a baseline…

Ok, we can do that, but then how to we run a compliance report on it? Is there a way to report on a computer that does not have it enabled? It would be handy to have it as a component of a baseline.
