Possible bug?

Has anyone else noticed that when you use the Wake-from-Standby Scheduling Wizard to remove a scheduling profile it only sometimes works? In my case it looks like it only works on a scheduling profile that is recurring. It doesn’t seem to work on profiles that are only scheduled once.

When I looked at the auto-generated relevance and compared to the actual registry entries, I found that BigFix is looking for keys that were either never created in the first place or removed by some other process. In short, I can’t use the Scheduling Wizard to remove all the “test” profiles I’ve been making.

Hey chuck,

Does the action report “failed” when you try to remove it?

No sir. It reports “Not Relevant”.

I tried running the standbytool.exe command line manually and it removes everything just fine. The problem is the auto-generated relevance.

I filed a bug on this (Bug 26867), but we will need to reproduce and then try to fix…
