Policy based VLAN aggregation

Hi,

I am mentioning one of my customer requirements below. Please let me know whether BIGIX can do it by itself . If not whether is it acheivable using any special scripting ?.

“Whenever patches are not updated , the machines has to be allocated to a seperate VLAN in the network (not only in a seperate group in BIGFIX server )and the access has to be provided only to a few resources in the network( For a few servers).This would be a dedicated NAC feature which is expected from BIGFIX”.

Yes this is possible using one of the BigFix NAC solutions (with Cisco NAC, InfoExpress, Microsoft NAP, “self-quarantine” with Windows IPSec, or other NAC solutions) but the implementation details for this type of solution can vary widely. I recommend you contact a sales representative or professional services and arrange a consultation.
