Pending downloads while creating new profile

I am trying to create new bare metal profile for Widows 2012 R2. However while uploading the profile, it is stuck at caching the files on OSD-server.

Upload is stuck at Win2012R2x64SP0_1487916511.driverinfo.BFOSD file with error, "Download error: “Unexpected HTTP response: 404 Not Found"
Download requested on server:

Next retry: The download will be retried the next time it is requested. Retry now

When I try to open the URL in the browser, it says it is not found from both the server.

Is there a way to manually cache these files on the server?

Hi @mitalp,

I’m having the same problem. Did you ever get a solution to this or what steps did you take to resolve it?

Thank you!

Hello.
Could you please check if the file whose download is failing is present in the Uploads folder on the BigFix main server?
The default location of Uploads folder is “C:\Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\BES Server\wwwrootbes\Uploads” and the file to check is “Win2012R2x64SP0_1487916511.driverinfo.BFOSD” in the subfolder “059e9704031207a78ba5d5014cf5d48cb4f7d226”.
If the file is there, more investigation must be done on the download chain to the bare metal server computer, otherwise the file is really missing and the image must be deleted and re-uploaded.
Thanks.

Hi Sergio,

Thank you for the information. There seems that there was a file mismatch on the root server from a previous image. Deleted it and a reupload is in progress. I will revert back with the outcome

Thank you.
