Patching Linux Servers

I need to create a fixlet that will run Yum update - y prior to installing patches from BF. I will be using baselines to patch multiple systems. The baselines will include

  • Enable the Multiple-Package Baseline Installation feature - CentOS (beginning)

  • List of patches for a specified time period

  • Multiple-Package Baseline Installation - CentOS (ending)

I believe that I need to add the fixlet to evoke the yum update - y command prior to running the patches.
