Patch Policy timing

If a device first checks in at the very end of a Patch Policy cycle, will it continue to run to completion, or will the action stop as soon as possible once the Patch Policy cycle has stopped? Or is it just undetermined, depending on how far the endpoint gets?

I’m unsure if a device receives the entire Patch Policy task at once, or if it gets instructions in parts (potentially requesting its next step after the task has ended).

if the action expire - the client will stop running sub-actions.

Okay, thank you. I wish it would at least still try to reboot, but I understand why it wouldn’t.
