Wanted to hear from others on the types of patch management metrics being reported by their implementation of BigFix. Does anyone know of a way to generate the “average time to deploy critical patches”?. There seem to be a wealth of information collected by IEM but we are struggling with turning this data into usable metrics. We would like to move away from raw numbers and focus on percentages and throughput. For example, instead of informing management there are XXX outstanding critical patches, we would like to tell them that the average time to deploy critical patches for org XYZ is X days or the percentage of critical patches deployed within the last 30 days is X. Would love to hear from others using IEM for management level reports.
