I am trying to get a total count of machines with SQL server. I can get that from the package data report but am getting multiple lines of every instance of SQL on a machine. Is there a better way to get one line per computer that has anything “SQL server”?
For example, end result would be XXXX machines with some form of SQL server in my environment.
Try the Software Classification report, with a filter for Product Name Contains “SQL Server” and Product Name Contains “Edition”.
