OSX Relay Affiliation

Does anyone have any troubles getting MacOS X computers to use the relay affiliation groups? In my test lab, I cannot get either of my Macs to use the relay in the affiliation seek group, they default to primary TEM server.

I’m running into this issue as well.

On TEM 8.2 using Mac BES Client 8.2.1093.0, neither Relay Affiliation nor Auto Relay Select works. Though, manually assigning a relay works. I get a “<n/a>” for the Distance to BES Relay property. This behavior has been tested and verified on both 10.6 and 10.7

On TEM 8.2 using Mac BES Client 8.1.617.0, Auto Relay Select and manually assigning a relay works. Relay Affiliation does not work with this version. The proper amount of network hops is shown for the Distance to BES Relay property. This behavior has been tested and verified on both 10.6 and 10.7

It’s bug 47466 and we are working on it… but don’t have an estimated date for a fix yet.

Thanks for the info, Noah. Is there a public site where we can view bugs? If there is one, I can’t find it. The Known Issues page for TEM 8.2 at http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21571487 does not have it listed.
