I don’t see an option in the “OS Deployment - Capture” Dashboard to capture Windows Server 2016. Is there a way to handle this OS? Maybe indicate that we are capturing Windows 10? Or do something manually?
OSD support for Windows 2016 is planned for the end of this month.
Great news! Looking forward to it.
I am trying to import the ISO image of Windows 2016 OS, but it is failing while analyzing the image.
Is the support for 2016 delivered or not?
Support is not yet available. It is planned for the end of March.
Okay. Will try deployments once the support is available on BigFix.
Thank you.
The end of March came and went. Any update on Server 2016 support for OSD?
The new OSD site version 72 has the Windows 2016 support.
I’m on version 72, and the “OS Deployment - Capture” Dashboard does not list Windows Server 2016 in the “OS to capture” drop-down.
I do see that on one of my previously-captured Windows 2016 images (I edited an Action for a Windows 10 Capture to make it work), I can now edit the properties in the “OS Deployment - Image Library” dashboard and change the OS to Windows 2016.
Do we need to do something to enable Windows 2016 capture (generate new MDT Bundle or anything like that?)
The OS list shown in the Capture dashboard depends on the uploaded MDT Bundles.
I suggest to capture and import a Windows 2016 image using the new MDT Bundle as Windows 2016 support requires WADK 10 v1607 and MDT build 8443.
Thanks! Updating now
