Office updates are important to deploy in the environment

Hello Guys,

Can any one suggest, there are patches for Updates for Office 2010, 2013 and Update for Outlook 2016 need to be applied in the environment just like security patches.

I am bit confused here please let me know.

Long Story Short, Yes…

Although the Severity of the office updates are specified as “Unspecified” , their Catagory is typically “Critical” or important.
The office products are vulnerable to the same level of exploits that the OS is… therefore yes… Patch away but as per usual, test on a few 1st to see if anything breaks in your environment.
