In my BigFix database, i have multiple records for the same computer (resulting from rebuilds, etc). I can’t delete the old records, but I’d like to filter them out on reports. Is there an indicator in the database that will tell you what records are the obsolete records, so I can exclude them from showing up on the report?

Have you looked at this? http://support.bigfix.com/bes/install/downloadutility.html#bescomputerremove
It will look at “duplicate computers” and remove the old ones based on the “last report time”… There isn’t a way to filter them out of the console without deleting them…

Hi Ben,
Thank you for replying. I am aware of the “duplicate computer” utility, but for BI reasons I can’t just delete old records. I was wondering if there was a way to identify obsolete records in the database and filter them out from report somehow.
