Not seeing usage data in SUA 2.2 Patch 5

(imported topic written by mxc0bbn)

All Usage Data (i.e. Total Run Time, Total Runs, Average Runs per day, etc.) all showing either “0” or “no data”.

The pertinent Information:

There is enough drive space

SUA 2.2.116 installed, it’s own server, SQL Server 2008R2 and database on same server

Data Source is pointing to both the BFEnterprise and BESReporting databases (both exist and running normally)

Analysis: Application Usage Statistics activated globally

Computer Settings:

“__BESClient_UsageManager_EnableAppUsageSummary = 1”

“__BESClient_UsageManager_EnableAppUsageSummaryApps = -:noapp:”

Scanners:

CIT and standard scanners installed

Scanners have been run multiple times with computers running various applications that have signatures (i.e. SQL Server)

Upload Scan Results Run

SUA Import run (w/o errors)

I’m kinda stumped as I’ve gotten usage data on other installations using these same settings. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,

M.

Hello,

do you see correct data when looking at IEM server Application Usage Statistics analysis results ?

If yes, do you see following entry when importing data on your SUA server (date and item count will differ):

2014-11-24 23:01:08 (+0:00:00.688) INFO: SAM::AppUsagePropertyValue items: 176

Do you see any warnings in the import log ?

Hello, we have the same issue
in Analysis all results looks ok. in the import log i found this: (+0:00:00.135) INFO: Data Source - SAM::AppUsagePropertyValue items: 361728
