Over the past few days I’ve noticed that newly installed BigFix clients are not reporting to our BES. They don’t show up in the Console and they don’t appear in the Web Reports either. When you look at the PCs that aren’t reporting with the BES Client Deployment Tool they say “Installed (Running) 7.2.5.22”. From there I’ve actually used the tool to
successfully reinstall the client but they still don’t report after the client has been reinstalled.
I ran the client diagnostic tool from the downloaded .exe and I can’t find anything in there that looks like a red flag compared to the diagnostic tool log file form a working client.
The BES diagnostic passes and I’ve restarted the server just to be sure. Clients that are already in the BES database seem to be unaffected as they still report normally and are available for actions.
I’m not sure what to try next. All I know is that our new clients just don’t show up in the BES database.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
