Please bookmark this site as it will be the home to most of the important BigFix (aka Tivoli Endpoint Manager) information going forward.
Redirects have been added from the support site articles.
One of the neat things about the developerWorks wikis is that you can comment, edit, add pages. I encourage everyone to check it out… and let us know if you want to see new wiki pages (or consider adding the pages yourself)…
long URL hard to remember (yes it’s bookmarked), you need to secretly keep support.bigfix.com and point to this forever. If you don’t I am going to buy that domain name when it expires and do it ! Then when you realize how important the URL is I can sell it back to IBM and retire
Funny you say that… I just got my godaddy notice to renew it…
I am trying to imagine what the venerable IBM would say if I asked for permission to use pimpmybes.com to point to an official IBM website… but… they didn’t acquire us to do the same-ole way of doing things, right? So I think I will do it and see if anyone complains…

Wiki pages I like to see are followings
Getting started with BigFix R.L.(Example including Unix OS !!)
Getting started to query BigFix SOAP server using [Ruby|Perl|VBScript|…]
Is there human resource assigned to maintain this wiki in IBM ?
Yea… that SOAP page would be a good idea since we don’t have a lot of info about this very useful API… maybe I can add it if I can find some time…
We don’t have a specific resource editing the wiki, but the idea is that all of the developers, service teams, support teams, etc. will all contribute… I try to contribute whenever I can…
These pages look great but I am wondering if they are getting updated as frequently as the old site. I am planning on upgrading my server soon so I was looking through the Manual installation instructions (in case it is needed) and the page has the links to the 8.1.608.0 installer but the TEM Console says the latest version is 8.1.617.0
Looks like the page was updated on 7/12/11 and the fixlets for the new version came out 7/19/11
EDIT: I was having an issue with the installation folders job since I renamed my previous installation folder (C:\BESInstallers81) for the upgrade to 8.1. Once C:\BESInstallers existed I got the job to upgrade the installation folders again and I got all the installers for 8.1.617.0. My issue is resolved but at least you guys aware that the manual installation page has a slightly older version.
