IBM is pleased to announce the release of installation tasks for custom packages, which is in support of the recent custom repository releases for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SUSE Linux Enterprise.
Users of the native tools sites who have registered their custom repositories, Red Hat Satellites, or SUSE Subscription Management Tool (SMT) with IBM Endpoint Manager can now easily deploy custom software through IBM Endpoint Manager through the use of the following installation tasks:

Install packages by using YUM (ID: 18)

Install packages by using zypper (ID: 19)
